Grandpa Speaks Out - Creators - Mail - Home

In
December 1998, Spike & Mike came to us asking for a sequel to our first animated film, Beyond Grandpa. We said no. It takes a long frikkin' time to make cartoons. And December is a time for family, goddammit.

Then, in January 1999, they approached us again. This time they had hired mercenaries to ensure that a sequel would be made, and the product of our six months of slavery is now a part of the world.

Days crawled by like years, and every time we yawned or tried to stretch we'd get hit from behind with something big. We weren't allowed to turn around, though, so I don't know what it was or how big.
When the mercenaries didn't like our grandpa jokes they'd hold us upside down out the window until we cried. It usually took awhile because we were only in a one story building.

The thing that really killed our spirits was having to keep several Photoshop windows open at once on our little iMac screen. Justin (pictured at left) didn't need those glasses before Beyond Grandpa 2. Anyway, the film went to Sundance and was featured in the Korn Sick & Twisted Tour, which went all over the place.
It's available for your consumption in
hi-tech VHS format.
